Training and Credentials

Dr. Mendoza received his medical degree with a Specialty in Neurology from the Juarez Hospital of Mexico. Located in Mexico City, Juarez Hospital is a nationally acclaimed institute that provides outstanding training in the field of Neurology. The application of neurological concepts is fundamental to CCSVI treatment and therapy. Dr. Mendoza has gone to great lengths to ensure that his coverage of neurology is both focused as well as comprehensive.

In addition to his specialty in Neurology, Dr. Mendoza has expanded his credentials to include two subspecialties. First, he has a subspecialty in Critical Care Neurology. He received his training in Critical Care Neurology at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Mexico City. The National Institute was founded by Manuel Velasco-Suarez, who is known as Mexico’s “father of neurosurgery”. Dr. Mendoza trained with some of Mexico’s finest medical professionals and staff at the National Institute.

Next, Dr. Mendoza also holds a subspecialty in Vascular Neurology. For this highly specialized training he traveled abroad to the Research Institute for Brain and Blood Vessels located in the country of Japan. The vascular system and its relation to the brain structure is a central focus in CCSVI treatment. Therefore, this particular subspecialty allows Dr. Mendoza to contribute very valuable skills to our surgical team.

Current Positions

Dr. Mendoza currently serves as both a Neurologist and Neurointensivist at the Star Médica Hospital. Star Médica is where our WorldMed Assist Team conducts the CCSVI treatment. He is also a featured Neurologist and the MS Clinic Director for the High Specialty Hospital of the Yucatan Peninsula.
